Values and vision

The school’s values are: integrity; nurture; success; pride; innovation; resilience; and excellence. It seeks to instil a “growth mindset” in its pupils, encouraging all pupils to develop their basic abilities through dedication and effort. This, the school believes, will lead to outstanding achievement.

Yate International Academy also subscribes to the values of The Riding’s Federation, which believes that all learners - from nursery to adult learning settings - should be empowered to excel. The Trust endorses an ethos of internationalism, and aims to prepare pupils for their lives as global citizens.

Ofsted

“Children in early years get off to a very good start. This good learning is sustained right through the primary phase. Leaders in the primary phase have maintained the good quality of provision from the last inspection.”

“Pupils’ achievement in English is good throughout the academy. Pupils in the primary phase are taught to read well and confidently.”
