This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant Academy and play a key role in achieving our vision of being truly outstanding. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage Coordinator of Maths who is looking to make a significant impact across the school.

Last year's results continued to exceed national averages with 63% of students securing five or more A* - C grades including English and Mathematics. The successful candidate would be joining a dynamic and ambitious team who have improved the Maths GCSE results by 33% in the last three years. All other indicators continue to improve.

We are seeking an individual who will share our vision and values and our commitment to inclusion with a focus on the 'whole' child. The skilful, committed and enthusiastic teacher of Maths will have the ability to demonstrate a high standard of teaching and learning. Experience of teaching Maths to A Level would be beneficial. We are looking for someone who will bring innovative ideas to KS3 as well as being responsible for the assessment of student's needs, curriculum delivery, progress monitoring, recording, and evaluation.

Oasis Academy Coulsdon is on a 19-acre site pleasantly situated adjacent to Coulsdon Common on the edge of the village of Old Coulsdon in the North Downs, with fast easy access into London within 20 minutes. Our new £18.7m building has outstanding facilities. We fully support and care about all our staff and students facilities available include the Health and Well Being Centre, Fitness suite and supplemented Nursery places in our on-site provision.

Oasis Academy Coulsdon is an 11-16 Academy located adjacent to Coulsdon Common on the edge of the village of Old Coulsdon in the borough of Croydon.

The Academy opened in September 2008, replacing predecessor school Coulsdon High School. Since then the Academy has undergone an extensive refurbishment, completed in November 2011, and we are extremely proud of our modern, light, and welcoming building; not to mention the vast and beautiful fields and grounds set next to beautiful woodland.

We are a fully comprehensive mixed gender school with a fantastic and diverse cohort of students who continue to make better than expected progress year after year; our current Progress 8 score is 0.37. We are rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and have recently celebrated our best ever results.

As part of Oasis Community Learning we have a fantastic network of teachers across the country which we utilise to share best practice and constantly evolve our approach to what we do to ensure we are always providing our students with the best standard of education.
