Colegio Alegra is a private Catholic school in Madrid, Spain. We opened in 2011 and now cater for approximately 500 students. We are growing, successful and making a name within the educational world in Spain.

We follow our own curriculum, incorporating the best methodologies from around the world. Most of our classes are given in English.

For September 2014, we are seeking enthusiastic professionals with relevant teaching qualifications and a minimum of two years' experience to fill posts for Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. Posts are available in Science and English.

We are looking for fluent English speakers, who work well in a team, who are committed to working in partnership with staff, parents and the community to promote excellent learning opportunities for all. Non-EU candidates should already possess the relative working papers and visas.

Successful candidates will be dedicated to the teaching profession and demonstrate:

  • Vision, decision and creativity
  • Successful experience of planning, assessing and teaching in the relative keystage
  • A clear understanding of what constitutes outstanding practice
  • Ability to create a warm, positive and child-centred learning environment

Alegra British & International School is an independent/private British and International school in Madrid for pupils aged 3 – 18.
