Our school is looking to appoint a Maths Specialist who can innovatively and creatively lead the subject across the full school as well as taking responsibility for your own Year 6 class. You must have high expectations of yourself and our children and be extremely motivated to provide the best possible educational opportunities.

We welcome applications from teachers who are:-

  • Knowledgable, enthusiastic and creative, with a specialism in Maths
  • Motivated and passionate about their teaching and have a proven record in delivering pupil progress
  • Willing to share their expertise with a dedicated and hardworking team
  • Able to evidence the introduction and development of an action plan designed to tackle a key area.
  • Committed to improvement and inclusion, bringing learning to life to provide inspirational learning experiences to our children

In return we offer:-

  • The chance to work with a hugely supportive Head-teacher, staff and governing body
  • A child centred school with excellent facilities dedicated to giving our children the best experience whilst in our care
  • Freedom to work innovatively and creatively across the curriculum

The leadership team and staff at Malvin's Close Academy have great vision and determination to continuously improve their school and welcome any applicants to visit the Academy to see this in action. Please contact Diane Jamieson on 0191 261 3980 if you would like to arrange this.
