Job overview

Dersingham primary is a vibrant school full of young enthusiastic teachers.

We require an outstanding classroom teacher with developing leadership skills to become our Science co-ordinator across the school. We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable teacher who can raise the profile of science, ensure it is taught in a practical way and help us to raise standards in science across the school.

The successful candidate will

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • Have a knowledge and an interest in the teaching of science
  • Be able to generate enthusiasm and make Science accessible to all pupils
  • Have an ability to work with senior leaders and classroom teachers to improve the teaching of science
  • Take responsibility for INSET
