The Headteacher and Governing Body of this 'Good' and popular Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Senior Leader with the ability to lead learning in Numeracy across the Key Stages and with responsibility for the Year 6 class.

We are looking for a teacher who:

In addition to being an exemplary practitioner with a passion and enthusiasm for high quality teaching and learning, can contribute to high standards of learning and achievement in the school by:

  • leading the development of Numeracy across the curriculum, ensuring that high quality provision is in place for all pupils in order to improve their skills in Mathematics.
  • leading, co-ordinating and monitoring learning, supporting staff and meeting the needs of all pupils within every aspect of Numeracy.
  • Being an active member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Showing a commitment to and support for our strong Christian ethos.

The school is situated at the heart of Hulme, close to the City Centre of Manchester and the area has undergone significant re-generation in recent years.

The governors, staff, parents and children wish to appoint a new Numeracy Lead to take up post in January 2015. We provide a nurturing environment where children celebrate their unique heritages and respect differences. We reach out to the whole family and are a trusted part of the local community. We are looking for a new Numeracy Lead to help us to build on the success of this good school, to help take us forward and improve our academic achievements still further, to maintain the strong bonds we have forged with parents and the community.
