Job overview

For some professionals, giving children the best start in life isn't just a job, it's a passion

At the London Borough of Barnet, we believe every child has the right to the highest standards of education. We're committed to making sure that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families receive the finest levels of advice and support. That's why we're now recruiting for six new members of staff to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team.

As a qualified teacher with substantial experience of working in mainstream and possibly specialist education, you will lead, coordinate, develop and implement the delivery of high quality specialist advice and training on Autism Spectrum Conditions to schools. Ensuring the autism advisory team works effectively in partnership with school staff, other agencies and families to promote high standards of attainment and inclusion, you will be tasked with improving the educational outcomes for these young people.

The above role offers the chance to be part of something really unique. We'll reward your hard work with a generous benefits package and support your career ambitions to our full capabilities, just as you'll be supporting the future of Barnet's children. So contact us today and join a team that's constantly striving towards the achievable ideal that every young person deserves a fair start in life.
