Windsor Girls' School wishes to appoint a Lead Practitioner with vision, enthusiasm and drive, to join our dedicated teaching staff in an outstanding school with teaching School designation.

The appointment would suit dynamic and enthusiastic teachers who can demonstrate experience of raising attainment in Mathematics.

Your role as a Lead Practitioner will involve developing best practice in Teaching and Learning both within Mathematics and across the School. You should be innovative and willing to lead on a number of initiatives whilst working as part of a team.

You will have a proven track record of success, be consistently outstanding in the classroom and demonstrate high aspirations for the future.

Windsor Girls' school was graded as outstanding in all categories by Ofsted in 2013. You would join us at an exciting phase as we move from outstanding to exceptional.

Windsor Girls' School is an academy school based in Windsor and Maidenhead for girls aged 13-18. It is a non-denominational school.

The school also offers a range of field trips and overseas visits which are intended to allow students to broaden their understanding of key aspects of their subjects. This includes trips to Iceland, Belgium, and Ecuador.

When it comes to sport, students take part in netball, hockey, lacrosse, athletics and rounders as part of the school curriculum. There are also additional opportunities for rugby, swimming and rowing.

Drama and Performing Arts is also popular both as a subject area and as an extra-curricular activity.
