Values and vision

Biddick Academy wants to provide its students with the best possible opportunities and inspire them to have the highest aspirations. The secondary school prides itself on knowing each of its students individually. It believes passionately that everyone has something they are good at and it aims to bring out the best in every pupil.

Teachers think students learn best when they are challenged, engaged, motivated, involved in the process, understand the relevance of the learning, and are provided with frequent and accurate feedback. The development of literacy and numeracy skills is embedded into every subject area.
