A bespoke curriculum for students working below Level 4 upon entry

We are looking for a dynamic, outstanding teacher to become our Lead Practitioner.

You will be responsible for the development of teaching and learning within our Flex curriculum (English, Humanities, Maths and Science) for our below level 4 Premium students at KS3 as well as contributing to whole school development. This is a competency-based curriculum in which students meet the National Curriculum requirements of each subject as well as developing transferable learning skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking, creative teacher who wants to inspire others to achieve; someone who can embrace the individual needs of students on entry to the school in year 7 and lead delivery through sharing their outstanding practice to achieve aspirational progress with our students.

We welcome applications from teachers who have experience of teaching in primary or secondary schools.

Foxford School and Community Arts College is a co-educational maintained secondary school situated in Longford, Coventry. The school is for pupils aged 11-18 and features a sixth form with capacity for 150 students. Foxford School and Community Arts College has a catchment area spanning the West Midlands, including the towns of Broad Heath, Holbrook and Bell Green.

The secondary school is maintained by Coventry City Council and accommodates over 1,000 pupils.
