Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi Academy Company, was incorporated on 1st July 2014. The company consists of, St Augustine's Catholic High School, St Bede's Catholic Middle School, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic First School and St Peters Catholic First Schools.

Due to an unprecedented uptake in our outstanding 6th Form (Top in the County 2013 and 2014) we have the opportunity to recruit an additional Teacher of English/Media Studies.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational and passionate teacher of English with innovative and creative ideas for delivering outstanding lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, with the determination and commitment to raise standards across all levels and abilities.

The home school for this position is St Augustine's Catholic High School.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have QTS
  • Have a degree in relevant subject
  • Have evidence of consistently 'good and outstanding teaching
  • Have evidence of good to outstanding exam results
  • Have experience of teaching A level
  • Inspire students of all abilities to fulfil their potential
