The Samworth University Academy Trust is a partnership between the University of Nottingham and the Samworth Trust. The Nottingham University Samworth Academy was created by the trust and opened in 2009.

The Torch Academy Gateway Trust (TAGT) is a dynamic and growing Multi Academy Trust Group based in the East Midlands. Our Trust Group, comprising Toot Hill School, Meden School, Nottingham Free School and Birklands Primary School, is committed to providing high quality education to all of our students, regardless of their backgrounds. TAGT is also currently working in partnership with Nottingham University Samworth Academy.
