Tauheedul Islam Boys' High School (TIBHS) is a new Free School, which opened in September 2012.

Tauheedul Islam Boys' High School opened in September 2012. There are currently 350 learners in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10, but over the next 4 years the school will grow to 700 learners, including a sixth form of 200 learners. TIBHS has joined our existing Girls' High School in a network of successful schools under the 'Tauheedul Schools and Academies Programme'.

The governors and staff are ambitious for the school: Our mission is to create an outstanding organisation that inspires learners with excellence in academic achievement, personal development and community service.

We would welcome applications from candidates of all faiths and none.

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (Level 2) to join our existing team of committed and skilled support staff.

You Will:

  • Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Have an enthusiasm for supporting children with special educational needs. Experience of working with HI or ASD students would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Have a passionate belief in our schools mission statement, including education in a school with a strong faith ethos and the belief that all pupils can make outstanding progress with the best support
  • Be highly organised, ICT literate and have excellent communication and motivational skills to engage young people
  • Whilst having a LSA Level 2, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification is desirable, it is not essential. We would welcome applications from graduates who are interested in becoming trained Learning Support Assistants.
