20 hours per week, 8.45am to 12.45pm Monday to Friday (Term time only)
We need an enthusiastic person to work with a pupil, with complex physical and communication difficulties.
The role will involve working on a 1:1 basis supporting the child with their individual OT, Physio, and Speech programmes. It will also involve personal care, feeding and toileting, which will require some lifting.
We are looking for:
- The confidence to make responsible decisions
- The ability to work closely with a dedicated and hardworking team
- Experience of Somerset Total Communication (STC)
- The ability to develop good working relationships with parents and professionals
- Experience would be preferred, but training will be given
- TAs are expected to supervise part of lunchtime.
