Learning Support Teacher

Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher to deliver a range of intervention programmes across a cluster of schools.

This post is part of a highly regarded outreach service that has provided learning support to a cluster of schools via a Service Level Agreement with Yew Tree Community Primary School for over ten years.

The role will include:

• identification and assessment of pupils' learning needs
• small group teaching and work with individual pupils
• advice, support and guidance to cluster school's staff/SENCo and Parents/Carers

The successful candidate will believe in:

• putting learning in the heart of the community
• the link between improved achievement and excellent pastoral care
• delivering exciting and personalised learning opportunities

And will:

• demonstrate successful experience in teaching children with a wide range of needs
• be an outstanding teacher with high expectations and a commitment to raising standards
• show high levels of motivation and enthusiasm
• be prepared to work closely with colleagues within a team setting
