In June 2013, Stourbridge College merged with Birmingham Metropolitan College and now the College enrols around 35,000 students each year including its secondary school; Harborne Academy.
Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMETC) is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK providing a wide range of education and training programmes across the West Midlands and the UK.
It has a turnover of nearly £100 million and works with organisations such as BMW, BritVic, Caterpillar, IBM, Jaguar Land Rover and Network Rail to deliver training, apprenticeships and wider education services.

Lecturer - Access to Health
The Faculty is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and flexible Lecturer to teach on a range of subjects on the Access to Health Programmes. These will include Anatomy and Physiology, health Care Studies and Genetics. You will join an experienced team of staff and contribute to both the teaching and the curriculum development of the Faculty's specialist Health and Social Science provision.
