To plan, organise and innovative departmental development and provide line management for the Mental Health strand and Foundation Studies Community Adult curriculum. To oversee high quality teaching and pastoral support to this cohort, and to liaise with local agencies and partners to ensure the continued success of the provision.

You will teach on a range of programmes including the Mental Health and Foundation Studies courses from pre entry to Level 2. You will possess a recognised qualification in supporting learners to overcome educational barriers, a relevant degree, and a recognised teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or equivalent.

Experience of teaching vulnerable learners in the FE sector is essential, some of whom may present with challenging behaviour due to emotional and behavioural difficulties.
