Hadlow College is Kent's premier land-based College and one of the top such Colleges in the United Kingdom; having been confirmed as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2010.

We are looking to recruit a highly self-motivated individual to deliver a range of business and management related topics to Further and Higher Education students who are following vocational courses. Successful applicants must have some relevant commercial experience, a business related qualification and literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2 or equivalent.

In addition to the minimum requirements detailed above, candidates will ideally have teaching experience in a practical and/or classroom setting together with a teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one. Excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are also essential.

As well as a contributory pension scheme, health cash plan and free car parking, this post will also attract 7 weeks holiday pro rata each year (excluding bank holidays).

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.

Hadlow College lies in the heart of picturesque West Kent, with good transport links that make it ideal for both town and country. Surrounded by farms and agricultural enterprises it is nevertheless only 40 minutes by train from central London and on direct bus routes to Tonbridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone. Within Hadlow village there exists a large range of amenities including restaurants, a small supermarket, post office, chemist and library. Further afield both Maidstone and Tonbridge offer a variety of entertainment options including theatres, cinemas, sports and shopping.
