The Person

Shetland College has a vacancy for a temporary full time lecturer in our Health and Care Department. Duties include:

  • teaching/learner contact
  • development and evaluation of learning materials
  • general liaison, meetings and administration
  • Candidates should be suitably experienced in Early Education and/or Social

Care, and applications must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • professional background relevant to early education and/or social care
  • relevant professional qualification
  • abiltiy to teach early education and/or social care to a variety or learners
    good communication skills 

Additional Information

Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (Children) or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of appointment being made.

A Relocation package does not apply to this post.

We will pay interview expenses from within the UK.

Not suitable for remote working.
