The Person
Shetland College has a vacancy for a temporary full time lecturer in our Health and Care Department. Duties include:
- teaching/learner contact
- development and evaluation of learning materials
- general liaison, meetings and administration
- Candidates should be suitably experienced in Early Education and/or Social
Care, and applications must be able to demonstrate the following:
- professional background relevant to early education and/or social care
- relevant professional qualification
- abiltiy to teach early education and/or social care to a variety or learners
good communication skills
Additional Information
Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (Children) or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of appointment being made.
A Relocation package does not apply to this post.
We will pay interview expenses from within the UK.
Not suitable for remote working.
