We are looking for motivated individuals to join our expanding Engineering Team to teach on a range of Engineering courses, including Manufacturing Engineering at levels 1 - 3.

The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 2 mechanical/manufacturing engineering qualification and a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one). He/she will also have Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy, or be willing to work towards them. You must have experience of working in machine shops (including: turning, milling, grinding, fitting), and ideally some experience of teaching/training.

This is an exciting time to join Henley College Coventry as we have recently been graded Good by Ofsted and have just finished a £6 million redevelopment, which includes a new engineering workshop, as well as three hair and beauty salons, a Life Skills centre and a conference centre. Our new engineering facility includes a state of the art Robodrill, which is used to train our students. The vertical machine which is used for cutting metal and plastics has been donated by Fanuc Robotics and is used by manufacturers across the globe. This training gives our students a great advantage in the workplace. Our student success rates make us one of the top two colleges in the West Midlands and success rates for level 1 engineering are 6% above the national average and our level 2 engineering success rates are 12% above.

Join our winning engineering team and make a difference to young people ...

The post is full time, although job-share arrangements will be considered.

Candidates with a disability will be guaranteed an interview, providing they meet all the essential requirements of the post.
