Lecturer - English with specific delivery of IGCSE English

Since September 2013 students at Sussex Downs College who have not successfully attained a 'C' grade at English GCSE have been required to continue working towards this goal. With a significant increase in demand, we have a vacancy for an inspirational and energetic lecturer to deliver on the iGCSE English programme to learners from both academic and vocational learners.

The ideal person will have experience of working with level 2 learners, experience of delivering iGCSE English and be an aspirational and innovative individual with excellent classroom management skills. This is an exciting opportunity to support Level 2 learners to develop the literacy skills they need to progress onto Level 3 study. This post is subject to a DBS check.
