Lecturers - Functional Maths

Uxbridge College is a highly successful Further Education College in West London. In May 2008 the College was awarded the grade of 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.

The College is seeking to appoint Lecturers in Functional Maths to deliver up to Level 2 across a range of different curriculum areas.

As well as a relevant Maths/Science degree, you must have a Maths GCSE qualification or equivalent at Grade B or above and preferably a Level 3 qualification in Maths. You should also have had at least 2 years' experience of delivering Maths and will be able to motivate and engage vocational learners aged 16 to 18. You should understand the Functional Skills exam requirements in order to ensure student success.

Shortlisted applicants will need to demonstrate their abilities in Functional Skills by undertaking some literacy and numeracy ability tests.
