About the role:
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Lecturer in Animal Sciences to contribute to the teaching and assessment of Animal Management and Animal Care BTEC courses within the Centre for Applied Sciences. You will teach and assess BTEC level 2 and 3 Animal Management and Animal Care units, act as a tutor for one BTEC course and support students effectively in all aspects of their learning as a subject teacher and course tutor.

About you:
With honours degree in Animal Science or related subjects such as Biology and Zoology, you will have a teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one. You will have an understanding of the requirements of course syllabuses / course specifications and quality assurance processes and how to maintain an Animal Care Centre. You will have the ability to teach and assess Animal Sciences subjects effectively and the ability to produce high quality assessment materials that comply with BTEC quality assurance regulations and procedures.
