This Post is to cover for maternity leave but will be key to the future development and delivery of level 3 provision predominately Textiles and Fashion. You must have a background in either Fashion or Textiles to enable you to delivery programmes designed to meet the demands of learners to the highest academic standards so that they are prepared fully for the challenges of higher education and future employment.

You will contribute significantly to the Centre in helping to manage the delivery of programmes across the creative arts section. You will be required to teach across all of our Textiles provision, working with students on level 2 and 3 programmes as necessary. You will also take responsibility for the course leadership of level 3 programmes alongside teaching and assessment on Textiles and Fashion

You should hold a Textiles/Fashion level 4 (or higher) qualification and have experience of preparing for and managing the delivery of a range of textile related units. You will be adept at motivating learners and facilitating the learning process by linking theory to practice through learner focused projects.

You must be able to demonstrate a very good level of technical understanding alongside practical skills. You will have course leadership experience as well as experience of dealing with a range of learners both in a teaching and pastoral capacity.

Candidates successful at the shortlisting stage will be invited to attend an interview and deliver a mini-teach.
