About the role:

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Lecturer in Crime Scene Investigation and Forensic Science to facilitate the delivery of the Foundation Degree in Crime Scene and Forensic Investigation course within the Centre for Applied Sciences. You will act as a course manager and lecturer in Forensic Science for levels 3 to 5 and in addition, facilitate the growth of our Higher Education programme delivery at level 6.

You will teach, assess and course manage on the Foundation Degree in Crime Scene and Forensic Investigation course and across a range of associated courses at levels 3 to 5 with subjects including: Work Based Industry, Photography, Forensic Quality, Criminal Justice Law, Crime Scene Investigation, Criminal Investigation Procedure.

About you:

An honours degree in Crime Scene Investigation/Forensic Science or relevant subject and relevant occupational experience is desirable. You will have a teaching qualification or a willingness to gain one. You will have the ability to teach crime scene investigation and forensic science effectively up to level 5, and potentially level 6 and an understanding of how to support students effectively in all aspects of their learning as a subject teacher.
