We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Lecturer for Health & Social Care who will join our Care and Early years Programme area and teach on a range of Health & Social Care courses. Drawing on your industry experience and previous teaching roles, you will plan, develop and deliver lessons, ensuring our students are learning from high quality course content that is relevant to the workplace today.
In addition, you will:
- Be actively involved in the organisation, development, delivery and evaluation of teaching and learning
- Participate in the marketing, recruitment and selection/enrolment of students.
- Provide guidance and support to students as appropriate.
- Develop and implement appropriate quality management and assurance systems.
We're specifically looking for the following experience/skills:
- Health & Social Care industry experience
- A degree level qualification or equivalent in Health & Social Care or other relevant subject area
- Experience of teaching Health & Social Care, ideally at Advanced level
- A teacher training certificate or willingness to achieve this within 3 years.
- The ability to respond positively to change in an evolving curriculum area.
