An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated lecturer to join a growing and dynamic team in the further development of innovative and exciting approaches to Maths education.
Bromley College currently offer a range of academic and vocational courses, including a large HE provision. Catering for 14-19 and adult learners, our courses run across two campuses at Bromley and Orpington. In the short term we are seeking to build on the quality of our existing provision and in the medium term we are planning to expand our range of provision.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of successful Maths teaching, particularly at level 2 and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for Maths education which motivates and inspires learners. An excellent communicator, you will possess the ability to work in a diverse environment and be committed to enabling students to realise their full potential. You will have experience teaching Functional Skills and GCSE Maths to both day and evening students. Experience of teaching 14-16 cohort and/ or previous experience of working in the FE sector would be an advantage.

As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' DBS (previously CRB) check and a List 99 check, which confirms there is no barring in place.
