The Role

You will teach GCSE and Functional Skills in your subject specialism to a range of learners and will work within a growing, high-performing centralised team.

You will work collaboratively cross college and within your department to increase learners' success in Maths and in their vocational areas.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with previous experience in your subject area in the FE sector. You will have demonstrable ability in building relationships at all levels across the College, as well as within the Maths team.

You already use a variety of different, innovative and engaging teaching techniques, and are able to inspire trust and confidence in your students. You are brave enough to step outside of the box and try new approaches that challenge your students - and perhaps yourself.

• Hours: Full time is 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Salary: £25,650 - £32,700 pro rata per annum plus £1,000 market forces allowance
• Hourly paid: £21.54 plus holiday pay
• Annual Leave: A generous holiday entitlement of 42 days per annum plus all public and bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff)
