Sutton Coldfield and Matthew Boulton College have joined forces to bring together an unrivalled selection of courses and qualifications for learners.

The ‘Fusion’ of these two prestigious colleges can be described as something new created by a mixture of qualities, ideas and experiences: bringing together first-class teaching, guidance and facilities which both colleges offer into one spectacular and bold learning experience.

This latest chapter of the Colleges’ history brings about changes to enable the oldest provider of Further Education in the City to join a learning institution who have a long history of success.  Our vision is to create a high quality further and higher education college in central and north Birmingham that will deliver outstanding learning opportunities for young people, adults and employers. Our proposed merger and long standing strategic partnership has demonstrated many benefits. Our proposed new name, Birmingham Metropolitan College, will firmly cement our position in Birmingham.
