About the role:

The Centre for Applied Sciences wishes to appoint an experienced Lecturer in Sports Science/Coaching to teach on Level 3 BTEC coaching related modules, and Level 5 Foundation Degree coaching and research related modules. These include Practical Sport, Research Project, Key Skills, Multi-Sports and support lessons. The successful post holder will be expected to meet all quality assurance processes in accordance with national standards.

About you:

With honours degree in a relevant sports coaching based subject, you will have a teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one, coaching qualifications including football and preferably experience of teaching sports coaching in an FE/HE context. You should be able to support students in all aspects of their learning as a course tutor and subject teacher. A Masters degree in relevant field is desirable.
