Five year fixed term post
Required with effect from 1st January 2015, or earlier if possible, a lecturer in contemporary dance, movement and physical theatre to teach in the Performing Arts department. Working with the Programme Manager, you will plan and provide high quality teaching and assessment of students' work, as well as taking shared responsibility for the tutorial and pastoral support of the learners. It is expected that you will have a personal tutorship role to at least one group.
The area provides a range of BTEC Performing Arts qualifications at Level 2 and Level 3. Our curriculums across all levels emphasise the professional and vocational aspects of the Performing Arts and we produce up to 10 public performances a year.
We need a motivated lecturer with the creativity, expertise and industry knowledge to inspire our students and be part of a very supportive and forward thinking team.
This post carries a full five year housing licence and you can expect to:

Salary will be in accordance with the Guernsey Lecturer Scale £26,566 - £47,799 per annum.
