Northampton College is one of the larger regional providers of Further Education. Our close proximity to local communities puts us in a unique position to meet both the academic and vocational needs of learners and organisations throughout the south and west of Northamptonshire.
You will deliver Physics, Biology and/or Chemistry units on the BTEC courses that the department runs, in particular Level 3 National qualifications. You would be able to offer Physics as a specialism but Biology and Chemistry teaching are also available. Other courses may become available, but at present we are seeking applicants able to teach on BTEC courses.

Northampton College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college situated in Northamptonshire. It is a 16-plus institution with three campuses: a major building at its main Northampton site, a smaller campus near the town centre and another 20 miles away in Daventry. It provides places for around 9,000 students aged 16 and over, most of whom are full-time and aged 16-18.
Northampton College was opened in 1973. It merged with Daventry Tertiary College to expand its Daventry campus in August 2004, and its Booth Lane campus reopened after a large redevelopment in 2012.
