The Cass School of Education and Communities brings together our innovative research and teaching in the fields of teacher education, special needs, early childhood education, social work and professional education.  We are committed to expanding our research profile to reflect the multidisciplinary nature and diversity of approach within the School.

We are seeking a new colleague to join our vibrant, growing team to contribute to the teaching, management, administration and leadership of our Special Education Programmes.  You will be responsible for developing, leading and teaching on undergraduate and post graduate modules in Special Education.

Educated to degree level, PhD desirable, you will have recent experience of work and/or research in Special Education and up-to-date knowledge of current developments in the field of Special Education.  Experience of working with students in the education sector is desirable, as is a profile of research and publication in Special Education.
