22 hours per week (Mon - Thurs)

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced, skilled TA to work across our school supporting groups with their English and maths learning. The successful candidate should:

  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the primary English and maths curriculum
  • Be confident teaching our more able children at Level 6 and beyond
  • Be able to identify weaknesses and be skilled at planning strategies to address them
  • Be confident tracking progress, assessing learning needs and planning teaching programmes that ensure pupils make accelerated progress
  • Be highly motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills that motivate and inspire pupils
  • Be committed to ensuring all pupils progress and achieve their best
  • Be a great team player who can also work using their own initiative
  • Be highly organised and have excellent time management

The successful candidate will work closely with our English & Maths leaders as well as our SENCo, to create a timetable that addresses the needs of different groups of children across the school, ranging from our lowest ability to our more able.

We are a one-form entry school with excellent facilities, a beautiful rural environment and families who care about education. Our children are very well behaved and are keen to achieve the best they can.
