There is a superb range of highly motivated teaching and associate staff, all committed to high levels of achievement and participation in learning.

Can you offer high quality technical support and systems management to a Learning Resource Centre?

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) serves the needs of over 1,500 pupils and 290 staff, as well as several local partnership primary schools. We research, evaluate and demonstrate how new and emerging technologies can enhance teaching and improve learning across the curriculum at all Key Stages. The LRC encompasses state of the art ICT facilities and a rapidly growing library to provide specific support for digital and traditional literacy.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Technical Manager to be part of the LRC team. Excellent ICT skills, a creative flair, team spirit and a keen interest in the role of technology within education are essential. Your main contacts will be the LRC team, pupils and teachers from AMCS, our partnership schools and Capita ICT technicians.

You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. Your role will be to manage, maintain and develop ICT equipment and systems and provide technical advice and support for ICT related activities, learning and teaching.
