An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and capable Main Grade Lecturer - Biology in one of the country's largest Colleges.

The School of Access to Higher Education within The City of Liverpool College delivers a wide range of Access to H.E. courses across a range of curriculum areas. We are seeking to expand and strengthen our Science curriculum area by recruiting a lecturer who can teach Level 3 Biology and Human Physiology to Access to Higher Education students. You will join an established team who have many years' experience providing a successful Access to Higher Education provision to our students.

You will be educated to Degree level in Biology, Human Physiology or an alternative relevant science based subject coupled with a recognised Teaching qualification or working towards one. Proven experience of curriculum planning and delivery is essential in addition to an ability to meet deadlines and a track record of achieving above benchmark results. You will be engaged in Continuing Professional Development and have the ability and skills Ability to manage student progress and achievement and complete all relevant documentation.

 Founded in 1992 following the merger of four further education facilities, The City of Liverpool College is a co-educational, non-denominational further education facility operating from six educational sites. The College Campus is located within Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter, which also includes John Moores University and the University of Liverpool.
