Required for January 2015; an enthusiastic mathematics teacher to join a highly successful department that challenges and supports students to make progress that consistently exceeds national figures.

For the last 3 years over 70 % of students have achieved an A*-C grade in mathematics.

We welcome applications from all qualified mathematics specialists that can demonstrate high levels of creativity and innovation. The ideal candidate will be emotionally intelligent, highly motivated and will be willing to take measured risks to deliver an exciting and engaging curriculum that develops students' thinking skills. Our new Pay Policy will reward outstanding teachers with enhanced pay awards.

We are a comprehensive school and students make outstanding progress, with key stage 2-4 value added placing us in the sixth percentile nationally. The Department of Education Performance tables rank Wrotham School 3rd out of 55 similar schools for student performance at GCSE. In 2009 Ofsted judged the school as 'good' with many 'outstanding' features. In 2014 66% of students achieved 5 ACEM. Our vision is to become the first non-selective school in Kent to achieve 100% 5 A*-C with English and mathematics.

Situated only 5 minutes from the M26 and M20, these excellent transport links enable staff to travel from East Kent, Surrey and South London.
