The Mathematics Mastery Coordinator will support the team to develop excellent curriculum, teaching and training resources for schools within the Mathematics Mastery network - and improve the life chances of children through improving their attainment in mathematics. They will help to ensure that the curriculum and training materials offered (both on-line and in person) are of exceptionally high quality.

  • Experience of creating innovative and research-based schemes of work and lesson plans
  • A passion for education and sharing best practice
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage and motivate others
  • Good communication, presentation, planning and organisational skills

Mathematics Mastery is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to transforming mathematics education in the UK.

Based on international evidence and practice, our school improvement programme aims to enhance pupils' enjoyment, resilience, understanding and attainment in mathematics.

Originally established as an Ark venture, Mathematics Mastery was founded by Dr Helen Drury - a pioneer of teaching and learning for mastery in UK schools.

Mathematics Mastery has a vision for all children to enjoy and succeed in maths, regardless of background. We believe in high-quality, maths-focused professional development for teachers can make this happen.

Launching within a small group of schools in 2012, the programme has grown to work with hundreds of schools across the country.
