Nescot is a forward-looking College of Further & Higher Education that serves a large area of South East England with a wide range of vocational and academic courses, both full and part time. The College is situated in Ewell, close to Epsom in Surrey, and is located in the green belt near Epsom Downs. The college was inspected in September 2010; all areas were graded 'good' or 'outstanding'.

Due to the continuing expansion of the department we are recruiting for our Mathematics teaching team and are offering attractive salaries of up to £40,000 (dependant on experience and post). These roles offer exciting opportunities for enthusiastic individuals, committed to being either a Head or member of a dedicated teaching team.
The successful candidate/s will either be a qualified and outstanding teacher with proven recent experience in a first line management role in a post - 16 learning provider, or a new or qualified teacher with the ability to join a team working on vocational programmes from Entry level to Level 2. You should be conversant with the new Functional skill standards and have a track record of successfully teaching GCSE Maths to a wide variety of students.
You will be a key member of staff within the Skills Team, delivering high quality mathematics teaching, assessment and support to learners across the college. Your job will be to inspire learners to meet their aspirations. As a teacher you will be sensitive to your learners needs whilst enabling them to express and reach their true potential. You will be experienced in recording and monitoring each step of progress however big or small.
