To deliver engaging and inspirational Maths programmes leading to defined outcomes for young learners in accordance with prescribed internal and external standards. PET-Xi are currently looking for Maths Experts to help design, write and monitor maths programs to ensure they hit national curriculum specifications and customer requirements.

Your duties will include:

• Taking a maths expert role in GCSE and Key Stage 3 courses nationwide delivering essential skills and concepts in an effective way
• Assist with writing and development of Maths materials for all Maths courses with the Head of Maths
• To assist in the development and monitoring of new Maths staff through training and course visits
• Assist in marking/verification and moderation of course exams
• To ensure good housekeeping at the programme venue and compliance with local Health and Safety requirements

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Good organisation, methodical, flexible and able to work as part of a team
• Outstanding teacher capable of delivering essential topics in a concise and engaging manner
• Previous experience with engaging with young people
• Ability to inspire young learners by using appropriate techniques and inter-personal skills
• Qualified Teacher in Maths (PGCE / QTS)
• Maths related degree - compulsory
• Experience of marking official GCSE exam papers.

• 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 (plus statutory holidays), mileage allowance.
