Job overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Maths Teacher to join our Team. We are an Academy with Outstanding Leadership and Management at all levels within the school. (Ofsted 2010 & Ofsted 2013 - overall effectiveness "Outstanding")

The successful candidate must be:

  • Committed to making a difference
  • Passionate about Maths and its impact on learning
  • Someone who has high expectations of students and colleagues
  • Excited about teaching and learning through ICT
  • Must have KS3 and KS4 teaching experience

Our Maths results for the Summer were 64% A* - C.

We would welcome applications from existing Maths teachers, or an NQT, or an experienced teacher looking to develop their career through responsibility.

The post will be from as early as possible.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such, appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
