A BSME/BSO 'Outstanding School', Modern English School Cairo is an established international, coeducational school located on a well-equipped 8.2 acre landscape campus in the emerging district of New Cairo. With over 2000 students, MES Cairo serves to develop the next generation of Egyptian leaders, offering a pre-K through university preparatory academic programme.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Special Needs Teacher for our Secondary Section for the academic year 2013-2014. The role is to assist the Secondary Heads of Section in maintaining the ethos and achieving the aims of Modern English School Cairo by providing high quality support for the teaching and learning of students with specific learning needs in mainstream classes and/or during withdrawal lessons.

Candidates should be energetic, adaptable, enthusiastic classroom leaders with a draw to an active school life in a vibrantly changing, exciting city. Applicants must have a PGCE/Degree with a minimum three years professional teaching experience.
