William Ellis School is a boys' school with a large mixed sixth form in the north of Camden. It is in an attractive site on the edge of Hampstead Heath with excellent access to Central London.  It is a neighbourhood of great social and cultural diversity, and this diversity is very well represented at William Ellis. Every year, we admit up to twelve boys who show special aptitude in music.

We seek an enthusiastic Music Teacher, to join the music department teaching Music at all key stages. We require a well-qualified musician who is passionate about music education and committed to participating in an extensive programme of extra-curricular, enrichment and performance opportunities.

The Music Department is part of a very successful, vibrant Faculty of Performing and Creative Arts (Art, Drama and Music). Currently, the Faculty is led by the Head of Drama, who works closely with the Heads of Art and Music to ensure the best possible learning opportunities and outcomes for students in the arts. All teachers in the Faculty are well qualified and highly ambitious for the students, and the arts are very strongly supported by the Headteacher and his Leadership Team.

William Ellis School is a voluntary-aided, non-denominational comprehensive school in the London Borough of Camden, serving the secondary educational needs of boys in the diverse local community and of girls in the Sixth Form.
