The Academy wishes to appoint a proactive person with a commitment to engaging families in a school environment to improve outcomes for children. We are a large primary school with a wealth of expertise and mutual support as we work within the Wise Owl Trust. Experience of working with parents and a variety of service providers is required, together with a secure understanding of child development.
The role will involve working as part of an established team to:
- Improve, monitor and analyse attendance ,
- Develop relationships with hard-to reach families,
- Liaise with a range of external agencies,
- Complete MCAFs with families to meet their needs and offer support
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and be able to work to deadlines, with an ability to present reports and analyse data. The ability to engage and work empathetically with families within a diverse community are essential.

About Seymour Road Academy
Seymour Road Academy is a 3-11 primary school located in East Manchester, less than 3 miles from the centre of Manchester. It is one of three academies within the Wise Owl Trust.
