Our new school is different. A unique sports and science specialism where health and wellbeing are key, superb academic and personal development, an extended day and week, and the best PE and sports professionals. All our pupils will have 5 hours of exercise each week and they will leave us with a broad academic knowledge, shared moral values, excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of how to lead fit and healthy lives.
Maintaining the grounds, the buildings and equipment is vital to our sporting ethos. You will be responsible for security and operational matters from new-build contractors, community use, site deliveries, traffic management, driving the school minibus and ensuring a clean, hygienic and safe environment for teachers, carers and pupils. A key part of the role is ensuring equality of access, so we must meet the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 and other related best practice.
Ideally, you'll be coming from a similar role so you'll understand flexible working, fire regulations, health & safety, risk assessment, emergency procedures and you?ll have a host of practical skills that will keep the school running smoothly. A first aid certificate is also desirable. You have good numeracy, literacy, IT and communication skills and you will be keen to train, learn, gain certification in all areas. There will, at times, be some heavy lifting and report writing for the leadership team. The role is nothing if not varied.

You'll maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and gain enhanced DBS clearance.
