Job overview

Dubai British School

Primary Classroom Teacher - for a January 2015 start

Founded in 2005 and located in the Springs area of Dubai's Emirates Hills, DBS is a purpose built British international school, with over a thousand students aged 3 to 18. We are at the cutting edge of educational innovation and excellence where we teach the National Curriculum of England with GCSE and A Level courses from Year 9 to Year 13. The school achieved CIS accreditation in 2009-2010 and is a member of the Taaleem group of schools.

Class teaching at DBS represents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed colleague to join an already successful team. It would suit an experienced teacher who is looking to continue a successful career pathway. Whatever the stage of your career, we are looking for certain qualities: you will love teaching and have the ability to inspire our students.

Whilst the classroom would be the main focus for the successful candidates, a specialism in an area such as the arts, computing, literacy and mathematics, and the ability to make a significant contribution to our extra curricular activities (ECA) programme would be a real advantage. We are looking for a teacher who can communicate a sense of commitment and passion to our students, whatever the field of expertise.

Applications from suitably creative and qualified teachers should be submitted by Friday 24th October

Applicants should forward a letter of application and CV to Mrs. Geraldine Nixon, PA to the Principal, at officemanager@dubaibritishschool.ae
