We are looking for an experienced, proven primary school leader, adviser or school improvement professional to join our dynamic and successful 0 to 19 service.

With an excellent track record, you will need a thorough knowledge and understanding of the implementation of school improvement strategies that lead to raising standards and achievement.

You will act as a School Improvement Adviser to a number of link primary schools to challenge and support them in their continuing improvement, helping all children make outstanding progress and raise standards across the authority.

You will need to be able to build effective working relationships with Headteachers and school staff and have the ability to lead and inspire. You will be an effective team player.

All School Improvement Advisers have a strategic lead within the School Support, Challenge and Intervention Service and we will wish to discuss possible areas with applicants.

Luton has a proven track record of supporting our schools to provide the best possible education for our pupils and School Improvement Advisers have a key role in maintaining and developing a strong relationship between schools and the local authority.
