Home to 498 pupils, Oasis Academy Hobmoor is an oversubscribed and ambitious primary school. Work with us and you’ll be part of a motivated team that is raising standards and well on the way to outstanding.

Here are just some of the reasons to join us:

We are a vibrant two-form entry. Located in the Yardley area of Birmingham, more than than 80 per cent of our children have English as an additional language and we are an integral part of the community.

We set our sights high. We are aiming for outstanding and recruit passionate, dedicated staff to get there. We are committed to delivering a first-class education for every child, of every background.

Our standards are rising. Teaching is typically good to outstanding and our progress scores at KS2 are in the top 20% nationally. We have been judged as outstanding at our last two internal Oasis reviews and are proud of our dedicated leadership team and skilled teaching team.

Our facilities are perfectly suited to our young learners. With our outdoor learning spaces, we have even been labelled a Best Practice Academy within the Oasis family.

We see the potential in everyone. We don’t only support our pupils to excel. As part of a family of 49 Oasis academies, staff have great opportunities to share best practice and benefit from our growing national CPD programme.

We’re part of a developing local hub. Accessed by more than 1,000 local residents each week, the local Oasis Hub already offers ESOL courses and a Foundation degree programme, a food bank and a Job Club for local residents.

You will make a difference. Our focus on achieving excellent standards for the whole child is paramount. Work with us and you’ll make a difference to our children, and community, each and every day.
