Al Hijrah School is a well-established (4-16) Voluntary Aided Islamic School.  The school is currently benefiting from the support of Calthorpe School; rated 'outstanding' in the last 5 Ofsted inspections, a designated Teaching School and a National Support School.

Al Hijrah School has a clear aim to provide outstanding education for all of its pupils. Key to the school's development is significant investment in innovative teaching and learning in all curriculum areas.

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to join our team to provide high quality teaching for our Primary children. The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of teaching and student progress within a successful primary school. They will be expected to provide good to outstanding lessons to ensure excellence in achievement for all learners, with a true commitment to raising standards. You will need to have experience of using a variety of approaches to continually enhance teaching and learning throughout the school, across the full age and ability range. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships within the primary team and the school as a whole.
