Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is maternity cover to provide Support for Learning (0.66fte) and PE (0.34fte). It is anticipated that this cover will be required until January 2015, although all or part of this contract may be extended for the remainder of the session 2014-15, depending on the return of the current incumbent in the post. Candidates will be contacted in August following shortlisting for interview.
This post is fixed term until 19 December 2014 and considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
